Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how Nerve Compass produces, reviews and publishes its content. Nerve health is a subject where bad information has real consequences — someone stops a prescribed medication, or delays seeing a doctor about a symptom that needed attention — so our method belongs in the open.
How We Research
Articles are researched against reputable sources: the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), Mayo Clinic, and peer-reviewed medical literature. We do not invent statistics, and we hedge prices and figures that change over time (“around $X, at the time of writing”).
How We Recommend Products
For physical products (socks, shoes, creams, TENS units, supplements) we describe the features that matter for people with reduced sensation and link to a filtered Amazon search rather than a single listing, because stock and prices change constantly. We do not quote prices or star ratings for Amazon products. For digital programmes such as Neuropathy No More, we say what we read, what we could and could not check, and what we have not tried.
What We Will Not Do
- Claim a supplement or programme cures or reverses nerve damage
- Suggest stopping, reducing or swapping a prescribed medicine
- Invent medical credentials or reviewers
- Let an affiliate relationship change our assessment of a product
- Hide a commercial link or disclosure
Corrections
If you find an error, please contact us. We update articles when factual errors are identified.
How We Review Products
Nerve Compass is an independent site run by a small editorial team, not by clinicians. Our product reviews are based on the vendor’s official pages, pricing, refund and privacy policies and, where available, on the product itself. We read the member copy of the Neuropathy No More program that the publisher provided free of charge; we have not followed the program or tested its results. We do not claim to have hands-on tested every product we write about, and each review says what it is based on. If a vendor or product owner offers us access, we will read it and update the page to say which parts we read. Method last updated: 20 October 2026.
